As the daughter of a professional baker, this career path is deep-rooted in Kate's genes, but she didn’t fully realise her passion until she relocated from London to the countryside. Moving to the countryside sparked her inner creativity...
The stunning natural surroundings of her new home in Malvern, and the birth of Kate's beautiful son Alexander inspired her to bake and bake and bake some more! Kate says it is truly the most satisfying feeling for her to see someone take a bite out of her homemade cake, pie or cheesecake and watch the delighted reaction on their face...
Kate's husband (the self-confessed chocolate addict) insisted that her cakes were the best of the best, and so the Marble Cake Company was born!
Now, Kate is living her dream as a wedding cake maker and designer. She helps modern romantics design wedding cakes that surpass their expectations. Clean, contemporary designs, luxurious flavours and delicious finishing products are her kind of cake, and she hopes they’re yours too!
