She has always been, first and foremost, a visual person and an artist. Charlotte brings a storytelling style and a well-trained eye to her work. Her images appear effortless, artful, intimate, and so candid that they may even feel accidental. Charlotte herself is relaxed and funny, adept at making people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Charlotte creates varied and interesting photographs by using both film and digital mediums, and also antique cameras including her Rolleiflex. Whether capturing a stolen kiss on a city sidewalk or a formal ceremony in a historic chapel, she aims to document all moments both big and small.
Throughout her career, Charlotte has documented weddings from the sun-dappled corners of New York City to the coastal estates of New England to the sandy beaches of Bermuda to the storied arrondissements of Paris. She will chase light and love any chance she gets.
Charlotte’s work was featured in many magazines and blogs, such as Town & Country, Martha Stewart Weddings, Over the Moon, The Knot, and Brides. When she’s not making photographs, Charlotte enjoys renovating and decorating her townhouse in Brooklyn, where she lives with her husband and their trio of boys.
