It was surreal and very special
Located on the Northern shores of Mykonos, we came across a secluded haven – Mykonos Lolita. While other hotels in Mykonos can feel loud and exposed, here in Agios Sostis, there is privacy and calm.

We fell head-over-heels in love with this venue for two main reasons. First, the pure aesthetics of it. When entering the space, the first things you notice are the panoramic views of the sea, the gorgeous island light and the captivating Cycladic architecture. The showstopper is the ceremony area, which was unlike any I had seen before – a traditional little white church, with an amphitheater, overlooking the sea. I imagined how incredible it would be to walk down the aisle with those views. It felt magical and effortlessly romantic.

Secondly, taking this venue exclusive allowed all of our guests to stay in the same place over the weekend. We had friends and family traveling in from all over the world (26 countries across 85 guests!) so we wanted to make the most of it. Waking up to see all of our favorite people having breakfast together, both families merging as one for a dip in the sea, friends reconnecting over iced cappuccinos by the pool, was really fun. By the time it got to the big day, the communal warmth and familiarity had intensified tenfold, amplifying everyone’s emotions. It was surreal and very special.
