Alice Andre

Alice was born in the South of France (and speaks French fluently) and although she has now  settled down in Australia, she makes the most of her French home-base to escape Australian  winters. You will likely find her roaming the streets of on an old Swiss town, enjoying  handmade pasta in Italy, or spending time with loved ones over a glass of rosé in France  between the months of June and August. 

Alice has a drive to document everything around her so she can remember things by when  her memory starts to fail her. She simple adores how photography allows her to relive  moments forever and ever. This feeling of getting transported back to a certain moment and  place in time whenever she looks at a photograph is what made her fall in love with it in the  first place and what keeps fuelling her passion over the years. 

She believes her work to be a reflection of her personality: down-to-earth, sensitive, honest  and curious. To Alice, art is not only about beauty, but about an emotional response.  Whenever she picks up her camera, her aim is always to capture, and hopefully do justice, to  connections, emotions, and moments as they unfold in front of her, and to create something  meaningful to look back on. 

To Alice, photography is a little bit like magic. It allows her to capture and encapsulate little  moments of life and love and keep them around forever. Emotions are tied to photos, so when  you look at yours, she wants you to be transported back to the very moment this picture was  taken and relive it all over again. 

Her style is the perfect balance of documentary meets editorial. She takes a relaxed and non intrusive approach throughout your wedding day but will guide you during your portrait  session to make your experience is seamless and most of all, enjoyable. She thrives to tell the  story of your day as it was: love, tears, smiles, awkward dance moves and all, all whilst painting you and your love in the most wonderful light (both literally and figuratively).
