“Our studio practice is an ongoing exploration of line, color, and mass – shaping floral atmospheres where every element finds its place”
Davide Capasso’s approach to floral design is deeply rooted in his artistic background. Following his studies in photography at university, Davide developed his career within the arts industry, an experience that continues to shape the way he sees and works with flowers. Since founding his eponymous studio, he has approached floral design as an artistic medium—using flowers as a language through which to explore form, composition and atmosphere.
The studio's practice is further shaped by Davide's time at the Sogetsu School in Tokyo, where he returns annually to deepen his study of Japanese ikebana. Davide Capasso's floral design is characterised by a strong aesthetic sensitivity and, similarly to Sogetsu ikebana, by the exploration of three key principles: line, color, and mass.
A distinctive, grounded, yet experimental approach that has led the studio to collaborate on events and projects internationally. Today, Davide Capasso creates installations for weddings, events and a wide range of creative projects. Each work is conceived with the same attention to individuality: creating floral experiences that are considered, specific to their setting, and visually striking.
