Sassafras Wedding

Having been in the industry for 27 years, Jess, the founder of Sassafras Wedding, has worked on countless weddings and events and she's honed a style that is abundant, generous and utterly romantic. 

Jess has developed an in depth understanding of the changing seasonal availability over the years and also each individual wedding style helps her to draw on that special something that can elevate a simple floral request into something more elegant and memorable. Her favourite work is the lush ceremony floral scapes her company has become known for in the Yarra Valley.

Treading lightly is important to Jess and as a matter of practice Sassafras recycles and composts, minimizes plastic and waste and they never use floral foam in their work, instead drawing on their significant experience and skills to create lasting florals while minimising the impact on the environment as much as possible.

When Jess is not flowering or designing she is loving life with her husband Matt and their four children in the Hills, surrounded by forest and their ever growing menagerie of animals.
