What do you really want from your honeymoon? To bask on the beach and relax? Enjoy cultural entertainment? Explore nature reserves? We have selected destinations for a romantic getaway that will satisfy any request. And all this without leaving the US.
Maui, HI
The Hawaiian island of Maui is an ideal beach location for a honeymoon. Here are idyllic sand beaches, as if from advertising, surrounded by turquoise water, good surfing, hiking and excellent hotels. One of the best on the island is Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, from which you can not leave the whole vacation. But if you still want to explore Maui, we recommend Honolua Bay - one of the best places in the world for snorkeling. While in Kapalua, you can also take a walk in the coastal parks D.T. Fleming Park and Kapalua Ironwoods. And then fotify in the famous Mama’s Fish House, which has repeatedly topped the ratings of the best restaurants in the United States.

Key West, FL
Key West, where summer reigns all year round, is the perfect location for a measured honeymoon with hammocks, Cuban cuisine and Margarita cocktails in glasses with a salt rim. But don't be afraid to get bored. The island has many opportunities for leisure activities. Visit historical sites: old town, Hemingway House Museum, Southernmost Point. Take diving lessons (or snorkeling if the first option is too much for you) in the turquoise waters. And be sure to explore the restaurants: Blue Heaven - where kittens and chickens stroll imposingly between the tables of guests, Eaton Street Seafood - a fresh seafood market where it is impossible to make a mistake with an order, Nine One Five - where chef Brendan Orr prepares sea delicacies in the author's reading.
Savannah, GA
Savannah is the oldest city in Georgia and has retained the famous charm of the real South. Every street here is wrapped in silvery Spanish moss, and cozy verandas beckon to spend the whole of them, just relaxing and sipping a mint julep. Savannah is one big attraction, but it still has a couple of special places to visit if you are considering a honeymoon in the city. Walk through the famous Forsyth steam, explore the old town that looks just like it did before the Civil War, and if the mystic doesn't scare you, head to the Bonaventure Cemetery with mighty oaks and Southern Gothic statues at the graves (love till death, right?)
Portland, ME
People go to Portland for the charm of the North American coast: fishing villages, lighthouses, lobsters and crabs, the Atlantic Ocean and Stephen King. This town is half quirky historic district, half modern culinary and cultural center. That means eating fresh local bivalve clams from the Eventide Oyster Co., drinking beer from the Maine Beer Trail, and admiring contemporary paintings at the Portland Museum of Art between walks along the Fisherman's Wharf.

Big Water, UT
Utah parks are not in vain the center of attraction for celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner. They literally take your breath away with their nature: towering terracotta canyon walls and waterfalls that erupt after the rains. Stay at the secluded resort of Amangiri, in the Four Corners region, and from there explore the surroundings. You can go on archaeological tours, guided hikes, bike rides, rock climbing with an experienced instructor and try cannoning.
The Hamptons, NY
The atmosphere of romance in the Hamptons has been reigning since the days of the Great Gatsby. City stress fades into the background here, giving way to fabulous parties, charming wineries and lavender fields, like in the south of France. In any restaurant, you can meet a celebrity. For example, the Nick & Toni's Italian restaurant in East Hampton is a favorite place of Donna Karan, Steven Spielberg and Meryl Streep. The Lobster Roll restaurant in Amagansett is also considered a classic here. If you are looking for a cultural program on your trip, visit Jackson Pollock’s house or Richard Prince’s studio. And be sure to check out the Sunday Garage Sale. That’s where you will find a memento from your honeymoon.

Monterey County, CA
Attention Big Little Lies fans: Monterey is your honeymoon destination. An endless coastline, vineyards (of course with tastings), a luxurious culinary scene and a complete mental reset await you. Stay at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa for a daily wave of the bay (just like the character Reese Witherspoon on the show), head to Aubergine for lunch, where award-winning chef Justin Cogley and pastry chef Yulanda Santos offer innovative and artful dishes inspired by seasonal delicacies, and in the evening go to Pearl Hour, where the best cocktails on the coast are served.
