"We conceived this creative showcase specifically for The Wed. We wanted to show our new wedding aesthetic - minimalistic, airy, elegant. In Kazakhstan, and elsewhere in the world too, intimate celebrations have been especially popular lately (a sign of the post-COVID period). So, there was no question about the choice of format. Our models, Arthur and Daria, are a real couple, and they are getting married next year. The final shots had to have chemistry, actual feelings, emotions, so the subjects became a treasured discovery. And our agency turned out to be useful to them: during the fitting with stylist Tamiris Abdrakhmanova in the Ivory salon, the bride found a dress for her real wedding. She was also inspired by diamond jewelry and a large selection of engagement rings from the Damiani jewelry house. In search of an ideal location, we settled on the Rixos Almaty Hotel. This is not an obvious choice, because everyone in Almaty knows the hotel as a popular venue for large-scale celebrations with a classically-styled ballroom. But there is also the main restaurant, The Brasserie, which is elegant and refined, suitable for more intimate occasions. CanDi Art of DECOR and Nash Floral Design decorated the space with candles and delicate floral arrangements – we really wanted to achieve a light, uncluttered atmosphere, without the oversized structures that were popular in past seasons. Now we know for sure that we achieved the insight: the editorial received an amazing response from the brides, hundreds of saves, reposts and comments."
