After nearly two years together, Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio and Australian jewelry designer Buck Palmer are engaged. Palmer popped the question during a romantic beach escape at Nihi Sumba in Indonesia back in April, but the couple kept the milestone to themselves for four months before finally sharing the happy news with the world earlier this week.
The newly engaged couple marked the occasion with a dreamy series of photos and drone footage from the proposal. Barefoot on the sand, Ambrosio and Palmer stand inside a giant heart outlined in vivid red flowers, with Palmer dropping to one knee before the two celebrate by embracing, running toward the ocean, and waving up at the drone hovering overhead. “I’d choose you in this life and every life. Here’s to forever, my love,” Ambrosio captioned the post.
Ambrosio and Palmer first made their relationship Instagram official in December 2024, when the model shared a birthday tribute to her then-boyfriend. Since then, plenty of travel has become part of their love language, with the pair even launching a joint Instagram account in early 2025 to document their adventures together.
