Henny's work is so beautiful, and she is a complete professional. She captured both our engagement shoot in downtown Vancouver and our wedding in Italy. With completely different backdrops and vibes, she managed to capture both perfectly. She does an amazing job of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I could not recommend Henny more.

Henny was the perfect photographer for our wedding. My partner and I met with over 20 photographers and Henny was one of the last we met with. From the moment we spoke with her, I had the best feeling. She was personable, easy to talk to, clear about her style of work, and genuinely curious about who we were as a couple. It was an easy yes to work with her. Leading up to the wedding, she worked so well with our coordinator and made time to speak with us multiple times to discuss how our planning was going, discuss the schedule, and give her expert advice. She always had time for questions whenever we needed. But she really shined the most during our wedding day. I have never felt so loved, supported, and genuine excitement from a photographer. We are not the best in front of a camera and she hyped us up SO MUCH we just had fun and was able to let go of all our nerves. She had the most amazing chemistry with us and the videographer which just made for a really comfortable environment to take the most gorgeous natural photos. She just KNEW what to get and when and with so many things going on she somehow got EVERY SINGLE MOMENT we wanted. She prioritized our schedule and requests and didn't get led astray by family or other guests who were all vying for her attention. She really prioritized us as the couple. After the wedding, she sent previews so quickly and with so many photos which made me so happy to be able to relive our day so soon after the wedding. Henny, you made our dream wedding come true. You made us the happiest we've ever been and truly outdid yourself. Your artistry is amazing and we are so grateful to have had you as a part of our day. Thank you for making us cry, laugh, and smile all day.

Henny was an absolute dream to work with! We really wanted to capture candid, less posed shots of our wedding to show the special moments. We received our sneak peeks today and are over the moon. We’re both not super comfortable in front of the camera and Henny made everything feel so natural and chill. Her communication was great and she even offered some great pointers and advice for planning leading up to the big day. If you’re looking for a photographer in Vancouver who has a modern vibe, I highly recommend.

We can't recommend Henny enough if you're considering her as a photographer for your special event. Henny's eye for a beautiful picture was the reason we hired her, but it's certainly not the only thing that makes her exceptional. From the initial meeting with her, we both immediately noticed her warmth, passion and attention to detail. We both felt like she took the time to get to know us, and learn as much as she could about the sequence of events leading up to the big day. On the day, she was incredibly accommodating, easy-going and went out of the way to make sure that she not only got the perfect shot, but also that we were at our most comfortable while she was doing so (even bringing us food at one point!). I was nervous about doing my own hair and make-up for photos, and she was very supportive & re-assuring about all my decisions as a bride. She was the one who encouraged us to leave the party for a short time to have alone time, which ended up being one of my favourite memories of the day. She also went above and beyond the next day, when she encouraged us to do an impromptu sexy post-wedding bliss photoshoot (honestly, best decision, include this in your budget)! I can honestly say she didn't just document our day, she helped to make it even more special than it already was! Lastly, her pictures - as if they don't speak for themselves.... We just received our photos back this week, and looking at them transported me right back to the day of our wedding. She managed to capture not only moments, but the feelings and essence of the whole event. Her photos have brought me, and many of the friends & family I've shared them with, to tears (of happiness). Henny, I can't thank you enough for all the magical contributions you made to our day. We will treasure your photographs forever!
