Maura Davidson Weddings was established in 2015 out of a love for portrait photography and a desire to create art as a service to others. Maura’s great grandfather was a talented film photographer, writer and painter who left a deep impression on her from a young age. It was never a question of if she would be an artist, but which medium would she decide to pursue.

For Maura, wedding photography is not only a medium to create art, but an opportunity to serve others well. While studying for her degree in communication she frequently traveled the west coast and fell in love with photography, design, and bridal fashion. This launched her further into the world of weddings and into full time entrepreneurship. Through an unique and versatile approach, Maura offers digital & film photography that blends seamlessly together for the couple looking for an artistic, timeless, documentary set of memories from their wedding day.

Maura is a calming and steady presence with the fun energy to ignite magical moments with her subjects. Not only her couples, but for their families, closest friends and dearest wedding guests. For her, wedding days are not only about capturing magical moments, but creating an unforgettable experience of peace, joy, and comfortability. Her strengths include dreamy portraiture, storytelling of the in-between, capturing the authentic feeling of receptions, and using direct flash for her signature film inspired style.
