Tamborine Press is a small boutique studio on the East Coast of Australia run by designer & illustrator Sarah Smythe.
Blending story-led design with editorial composition and expressive illustration, the studio creates wedding stationery defined by loose ink lines, a refined and bold colour palette and playful sophistication. Shaped in part by Sarah’s Italian heritage and love of old-world romanticism, each suite is designed to feel artful, atmospheric and deeply personal.

Sarah’s work is, in a word, incredible
The on-the-day stationery Sarah created was completely bespoke and told a story that felt uniquely ours, helping to cement the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the wedding.
Every part of Sarah’s designs felt thoughtful and deeply personal — from the custom illustrations of my wedding dress and my husband’s tuxedo on the menus, to the individual illustrations of our puppy used as table numbers.
We received so many compliments about the stationery throughout the day, and we’re so proud to now have a collage of Sarah’s work hanging in our home.
We would not hesitate to recommend Sarah — in fact, we would INSIST upon booking her for your big day!

Sarah was absolutely incredible!!
Sarah designed our ceremony booklet, menus, seating charts, welcome sign and table signs. She did such a stellar job being able to transform our briefing into these beautiful designs that we could not have even imagined up. All the guests were raving about the stationery all wedding long! It was definitely a crowd highlight.
Sarah was so patient and kind, and made the whole design process very seamless and non-stressful. We cannot recommend Sarah enough!!

We are just so incredibly grateful that we had the absolute honour of having Sarah from Tamborine Press design everything for our wedding, from our save the dates to the invitations to every single piece of day-of stationery. Every element was not only beautiful but also so thoughtful and cohesive, and it truly tied our whole celebration together!
So many of our guests commented on how stunning the invitations were, saying they set the perfect tone and built so much excitement for the day. We will treasure our invitations as a keepsake for life. The personalised letters on the day also became one of the most talked about and cherished moments, something our guests will never forget.
Sarah is not only an incredibly talented designer, but also one of the kindest and most collaborative people we had the pleasure of working with. She took our ideas and elevated them into something far beyond what we ever imagined. Every piece she created felt personal, and at the same time, so timeless and elegant.
She also made the wedding planning process so much fun. Out of all of our vendors, Sarah was one of the very best to work with. Scott and I come from corporate careers and love structure and organisation, and her meticulous design process was everything our process-driven hearts could have hoped for. The use of the Trello board in particular made everything so well thought out, clear, and easy to follow.
We honestly could not have asked for more and feel so lucky that Sarah was part of our dream team. Any couple would be beyond fortunate to have her bring their vision to life.
