Founded in 1996 and lovingly run by Maria and Vasilis, LYTHOS has grown naturally over the years from a much-loved seaside restaurant into a destination wedding venue, while remaining true to the warmth and authenticity of its family roots.
Weddings here are never approached as a formula. Each celebration is individually created around the couple, whether it is an intimate gathering by the sea or a larger exclusive celebration. Ceremonies can take place on the beach directly in front of the venue, at the venue itself, or at one of the beautiful nearby chapels.

Maria personally oversees the wedding planning, combining years of hands-on experience with professional training in Event Planning, Marketing & Management and Wedding Styling & Event Planning. Together with a trusted team of local creatives and wedding professionals, she works closely with each couple from the first ideas through to the wedding day. From florals and styling to photography, entertainment, stationery and the smallest personal details, every element is thoughtfully brought together to reflect each couple’s story and vision.
Food remains at the heart of the LYTHOS experience. Inspired by Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, each wedding menu is designed to feel generous, authentic and made for sharing around the table.
More than a beautiful setting, LYTHOS is about the feeling of being welcomed. It is a place where couples arrive from around the world to celebrate by the sea, create memories that stay with them long after the wedding day and, very often, return to LYTHOS not simply as guests, but as friends.
