“Having filmed weddings across a wide range of cultures, my goal has always been to capture what is timelessly human, to look beyond the dazzling, chaotic interplay of light and movement and uncover something enduring”
Rose is a filmmaker, a Harvard graduate, and a former architect and brand designer.
Living in New York, she is fascinated by how the beautiful chaos of modern life shapes the way we love: its shifting pace, its cultural collisions, the nostalgic dreams that settle into contemporary landscapes. Wherever couples choose to marry, they bring that urban sensibility with them.
Her films reinterpret that chaos, finding cinema in fleeting gestures, unexpected encounters, and the details that would otherwise pass unnoticed. She is drawn to the atmosphere between the big moments, and to the way a celebration can move from quiet intimacy into unguarded joy.
With a background in music, Rose feels a film through its rhythm: when to linger, when to interrupt, when to let an emotion build. For her, no two weddings should look or feel the same, and every couple calls for a different cinematic language. She lets their personalities, their relationship and their contradictions shape the film, so that what she makes is unmistakably theirs.
