“We care about composition, rhythm, sound and atmosphere, and we love working across different formats — from digital cameras to Super 8mm and handycam — choosing whatever helps us tell each story in its own way”
Rodrigo and Alika are a couple from southern Brazil who started filming weddings in 2013. What began as a small project slowly became a way of life, taking them to places they never imagined and, more importantly, introducing them to people and stories that have shaped who they are.
They have always been drawn to things that feel real. The way people laugh when they forget the camera is there, a glance shared across the room, the energy of a celebration, the little moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. They like weddings as they happen — natural, emotional and completely alive.
Their films live somewhere between cinematic documentary and creative storytelling. They care about composition, rhythm, sound and atmosphere, and they love working across different formats — from digital cameras to Super 8mm and handycam — choosing whatever helps them tell each story in its own way. They don't want to direct your story. They want to be close enough to feel it, and observant enough to tell it in their own way.
After all these years, this is still what keeps them excited: traveling, meeting new people, experiencing different places and celebrations, and turning all of that into films that feel personal and alive.
