After nearly nine years together, Acquired Style founder and fashion influencer Brigette Pheloung has married longtime partner Mitch McHale in a romantic waterfront wedding in Newport. The celebration marked the couple’s second trip down the aisle after they legally became husband and wife in June, this time surrounded by friends and family against a sweeping coastal backdrop. For the outdoor ceremony, Pheloung and McHale exchanged vows beneath an abundant floral arch spilling with white roses, hydrangeas, and greenery, with the water stretching out behind them. More clouds of white blooms lined the aisle, softening the waterfront setting with an almost garden-like romance.
Pheloung made her entrance in a Vera Wang wedding gown built around a sculpted, drop-waist silhouette, with oversized fabric roses blooming across the hips and continuing along the train. The floral detailing cleverly picked up the ceremony’s garden motif while giving the otherwise pared-back ivory gown a more dramatic, almost couture-like finish.
