On Sunday, June 10, the Victoria’s Secret model Taylor Hill married her long-time partner, entrepreneur Daniel Fryer. Here are the highlights of their Western-inspired wedding weekend.
Taylor and Daniel first crossed paths in 2019 at a JazzFest event in Aspen and felt an instant spark. Their relationship quickly blossomed, and in June 2021, Daniel got down on one knee and proposed to Taylor during their romantic getaway in Italy. The couple excitedly announced their engagement through social media, signaling the start of big preparations. Taylor and Daniel decided to schedule their wedding for the summer of 2023, giving themselves ample time to ensure a relaxed and stress-free planning experience.
For their venue, the couple chose Devil's Thumb Ranch located just minutes away from Taylor’s hometown of Winter Park, Colorado. The wedding weekend started off on Friday with a fun welcome party at the charming Broad Axe Barn. Taylor looked absolutely stunning in her custom-designed dress from House of Flora, while Daniel rocked his attire paired with Tecovas boots and a cool Stetson hat. The next day, with the majestic Colorado Mountains as their backdrop, the couple finally shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
For her walk down the aisle, Taylor wore a custom off-the-shoulder gown from Etro. The dress held significance not only for the bride but also for the brand, as it marked Etro's first-ever bridal creation. Taylor expressed her gratitude to Etro's creative director, Marco de Vincenzo, saying: "You saw my vision and created something more beautiful than I ever could've imagined and this dress felt so me."
To complete her bridal look, the model chose elegant jewellery by David Yurman. However, what stood out the most was Taylor's choice of footwear or, rather, the lack of it. The model decided to get married barefoot as she wanted to “feel grounded and connected to the earth.” Daniel opted for a traditional British morning suit, the same one he used to wear back in his Eton College years. According to Taylor, there’s an old Eton tradition that says graduates should don the same tailcoat on their wedding day.
After the couple exchanged vows, everyone gathered for cocktails and dinner, where family and friends raised their glasses to celebrate the newlyweds. The festivities continued with a lively after-party that went on until the early hours of the morning. Among the famous attendees was Patrick Schwarzenegger, who has known Daniel for years. Celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Lily Collins, and Gigi Hadid, all left sweet comments on Taylor's wedding Instagram post.
