Sydney and Alex celebrated their wedding day at The Bowery Hotel on October 1st last year, with their dearest friends and family by their side. The bride specifically chose this weekend as it is an anniversary of her mother's passing and she wanted to remember her as part of the wedding celebration in a joyful way.
For the big day, Sydney looked stunning in a Reem Acra sheath dress with jeweled cap sleeves and delicate bow details. Each bridesmaid wore a unique but coordinating gown of their choosing within the selected color palette of honey, claret, chocolate, and ginger. Alex, along with his groomsmen, looked chic in classic black tuxes.
The couple wanted their wedding day to exude a decadent mood that would lead to an unforgettable evening of revelry and downright fun. The autumn-inspired color scheme, rich with deep tones of claret, honey, olive, chocolate, and slate contributed wonderfully to this ambiance. The reception space was designed with a sumptuous old world aesthetic in mind which was achieved by incorporating Dutch masters-inspired floral arrangements along with an abundance of taper candles in vintage silver holders. The dining tables were based with dark honey velvet linen, and vintage Spode blue Italian china graced each place setting as a nod to the groom's Italian heritage.
