It was a night you didn’t want to miss. Red velvet accents, sumptuous Art Deco influences, and golden yellow highlights defined THE WED’s annual NYC Soirée; an evening during New York Bridal Fashion Week that felt both cinematic and transportive. Planned in collaboration with Apricity Event Co and brought to life with sculptural florals by Blxxm, the atmosphere was effortlessly cool and utterly retro.
Guests drifted between Sloane's Bar and The Manner's penthouse, drink in hand, stopping here and there, never in a rush. The red carpeted floors, the twinkling skyline just beyond the windows—it all gave that subtle feeling of being somewhere else, somewhere a bit removed from the usual pace of the city. Down at Sloane's, the opulent and candlelit space ignited conversation, sparked movement, and left a lingering appreciation for every corner.
The dress code enhanced the setting, with guests arriving in mixed metal cocktail attire—gold, silver, and luminous finishes that caught the light and echoed the evening’s vintage mood. In attendance were some of the leading visionaries of the industry, including bridal designer Varca, the team behind Uniform Object, bridal stylist and bride-to-be Hope LaVine, and influencer Danielle Copperman.
The night was captured through the lenses of Calenrose, Blake Nelson, and Kindred with content by The Content Bestie and video by Films By Em. Every detail extended to the finishing touches, from stationery by KFD Studio to a soundtrack curated by Lucas Walters, who carried the energy late into the evening.
