Camille and Leonardo had a unique wedding in Tuscany at the Villa Medicia La Ferdinanda. "We met a decade ago through mutual friends and actually dated when we were younger (8 years ago). The timing wasn’t right for the both of us. Leo ended up going to medical school and started his surgical residency and I went to law school, where during the pandemic we reconnected. The rest is history", — says Camille.
Their wedding was quite different from what is typically expected in their Armenian/Lebanese/Persian culture. It was intimate and non-traditional, with only 50 guests who were mostly friends. They wanted to be surrounded by people they truly loved and who loved them back. The dinner was one of the most memorable parts of the wedding. The sunset was perfectly timed as the guests walked to the dinner table, and the couple was left speechless. The dancing and party itself were also memorable, with everyone dancing the whole time.
Camille and Leonardo preferred minimal and rustic decor but also appreciated the best of everything. They wanted the decor to be natural and wild, not overly done, as the venue and backdrop were already breathtaking. They had flowers on the table but it was not overbearing. They opted to forego a floral backdrop during their vows because they did not want to take away from the beauty of the Tuscan hills. The couple's first dance was to the song "Funny Thing" by Thundercat, which they requested guests to join in on. Their last dance was a bit more romantic, to the song "Baby" by Donnie and Joe Emerson. The wedding gown was purchased from LOHO Bride in Los Angeles, with the designer being NEWHITE.
