Danielle Frankel’s latest collection titled X is a masterclass in silhouette, surface, and sculptural clarity. Inspired by Erté—the Russian-born French artist and designer known for his ornate, theatrical style—the brand's 2025 collection finds its balance in contrast: bold structure meets soft technique, high craft meets controlled drama.
Florals are a recurring presence, appearing as motifs stitched and painted onto fabrics like silk, wool, or twill, or emerging in sculptural forms across soft tulle and layered organza. With gown shapes ranging from sleek column to voluminous and architectural, the collection offers a study in form—with looks wrapped in crinkled organza and finished with quiet trapunto detailing, to illusion tulle gowns featuring sculptural, flared necklines
Throughout the collection, volume is architectural yet restrained, always in service of the silhouette. Each piece feels weightless yet constructed, with exaggerated forms that never overwhelm. The palette remains pure, allowing texture and form to lead. Collection X doesn’t just showcase fine design—it honors it. A reflection of Danielle Frankel’s continued exploration of the space between structure and softness, past and present, intention and emotion.
