At Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, Isabel Sanchis delivered a collection that moved with confidence rather than convention. For 2027, the house presented a sharp, expressive vision of bridalwear — one that understands today’s bride may want softness and strength, tradition and disruption, all in the same look. Captured through the lens of our members Tipos, the runway unfolded as a study in contrast, precision, and unapologetic glamour. As creative directors Isabel Sanchis and Paula Maiques shared, the 2027 bridal collection is an eclectic range designed to bring together different styles under the defining pillars of the brand: volume, craftsmanship, and femininity. It is a clear statement of identity, but one delivered through many voices.
"We blend the structure and comfort of ready-to-wear with delicate pieces featuring meticulous workshop craftsmanship, such as hand embroidery and fine materials, thus offering unique pieces ready to be worn."
That multiplicity was visible from the opening looks. Tailoring played a decisive role, with suit-like silhouettes cut close to the body before dissolving into sweeping, voluminous skirts. Structured jackets and corseted bodices introduced a polished edge, while romantic off-shoulder lines softened the mood with just enough drama. The balance felt modern and instinctive — never forced. Texture became one of the collection’s strongest languages. Sparkling embroidery caught the light with movement rather than excess, while lush layers of lace added depth and tactility. Versatility was another defining note. Traditional grandeur arrived in full-skirted ball gowns, reimagined with cleaner proportions and fresher styling. Then came sleek black gowns with open backs — unexpected, assured, and impossible to ignore. Some pieces read less as dresses and more as architectural compositions built around the body.
