Step back in time and imagine the beauty of Ioanna & Nikolas' wedding at La Badia di Orvieto in Italy. The stunning venue, surrounded by the ancient walls of an abbey, offered breathtaking views of Umbria's rolling hills and verdant olive groves.
With such an exquisite backdrop, the wedding needed little in the way of styling. Taking inspiration from the Renaissance era, the couple incorporated touches of 15th and 16th-century aesthetics throughout their celebration.
In the intimate ceremony, Ioanna & Nikolas exchanged their vows amidst the imposing courtyard walls of La Badia, surrounded by a small amphitheater of chairs. And when the sun set, the abbey's ruins provided a dramatic, open-aired reception space for a sumptuous dinner under the stars.
