Giuseppina and Claudio's paths crossed just after the lockdown when they began collaborating on a few creative projects. A year filled with heartfelt conversations led to a New Year's night proposal, setting the stage for a beautiful wedding.
To celebrate their big day, the couple chose Tonnara di Scopello, a historic venue in Sicily with a shabby chic atmosphere. The two envisioned their wedding as a grand family feast, steeped in the finest Italian tradition. Over nearly nine months, the couple and their vendors worked tirelessly to bring the idea to life. Every detail, from flower arrangements and centerpieces to menus and fashion, was meticulously thought through.
For the ceremony, Giuseppina stunned in a minimalist Le Spose di Gio dress with a large bow on the back, later changing into an Alberta Ferretti tulle dress for the party. She paired both gowns with Jimmy Choo sandals. Claudio chose an elegant Zegna suit in light colors, perfectly complementing Giuseppina's attire.
The celebration was filled with many memorable moments: Claudio's heartfelt emotions, the joyful tears of Giuseppina's son, and the couple's first dance that made everyone stand up and join in. To make sure this day stays in memory forever, Giuseppina and Claudio printed six love poems, which they thoughtfully gifted in envelopes to each guest.
The couple's incredible Sicilian love story was beautifully captured by THE WED photographer Valeria Pitarresi. Check out the images below.
