For summer weddings, Bermuda shorts or linen trousers can be worn instead of classic suit pants. In this case, a suit jacket would look out of place and a light linen shirt with short or long sleeves would look better. In reality, grooms do not need to wear a suit at all. Parts of the wedding look can be purchased separately, but ideally, they would match to create a cohesive look on your special day.
