There's been no shortage of exciting beauty launches this summer. Every week seems to bring another bronzer promising the perfect sun-kissed glow, an SPF that feels nothing like sunscreen, or a hair product that somehow manages to protect, repair, and style all at once. Those are some pretty big promises, but every now and then, a product actually delivers.
Luckily, some of this season's newest launches really do live up to the hype, which is why we've gathered a list of the latest skincare, makeup, and haircare launches worth trying this summer. It's proof that not every new product earns a permanent spot in your beauty routine, but this season, these ones definitely do.
Skincare
Erborian Water Serum
If Erborian's iconic CC Cream won you over, consider this the product that cements your obsession with the brand. The new Water Serum is one of those formulas you can see working almost straight away. Skin instantly looks fresher and more hydrated, but what impressed us most is that it doesn't stop there. Thanks to four (yes, four!) types of hyaluronic acid, the hydration actually lasts instead of disappearing an hour later. It's exactly the kind of serum that makes your skin look well-rested, even when you aren't. It's safe to say Erborian has another hit on its hands.
Ilia Sun Serum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50
It's summer, which means sunscreen is non-negotiable. But so many formulas on the market still feel thick, greasy, or like they're just sitting on top of your skin. Ilia's new Sun Serum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is the exact opposite, which is exactly why it made our list. When you first see 10.5% zinc oxide on the ingredient list, you might expect it to be on the heavier side, but it couldn't feel more different. It's surprisingly lightweight, gives skin a healthy glow, and the subtle tint blends in beautifully. Add in the adorable little bottle, and this is one product we won't be traveling without this summer.
Tower 28 SOS Rescue Spray
If your skin has never randomly decided to freak out, we'd love to know your secret. For the rest of us, there's Tower 28's SOS Rescue Spray. A few spritzes help calm visible redness and irritation, and because it's made with hypochlorous acid, it manages to do it without feeling harsh on already sensitive skin. It's also the only hypochlorous acid spray recognized by the leading U.S. organizations for eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis, which says a lot before you've even sprayed it.
Medik8 Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel
After discovering Medik8's Crystal Retinal line earlier this year, we had high hopes for the brand's first cleanser. Thankfully, the Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel didn't disappoint. This is exactly what you'd want from an everyday face wash. It removes makeup and sunscreen without making you work for it, which, let's be honest, isn't always the case. More importantly, it's not the type of cleanser that strips your skin barrier or leaves behind that heavy residue some formulas do. Your skin just feels clean. And honestly, isn't that all you really want from a cleanser?
Laneige Balance Mode Pore Polishing Peel-Off Mask
If your skin gets oilier the second temperatures rise, Laneige's new Balance Mode Pore Polishing Peel-Off Mask is one to have on standby. It gives you that ultra fresh-start feeling without leaving your skin tight or over-dried, which is surprisingly rare for a peel-off mask. The formula is powered by something called Rice-inamide, which is, yes, exactly what you're thinking: rice water and niacinamide. Salicylic acid helps clear things out, so when you peel it off, your skin looks smoother and your pores appear a little more refined. Basically, a reset button for your face.
NIP + FAB Protein Fix Skin Longevity Hydramist 5%
What feels better than misting your face on a hot summer day? Which is exactly why NIP + FAB's Protein Fix Skin Longevity Hydramist has earned a spot in our routine. It gives you that instant refresh, but it's doing more than just cooling you down. It's packed with soothing aloe vera and biomimetic exosomes, which admittedly sound like something straight out of a science textbook, but they're there to support your skin over time. It's one of those products that feels great to use, but you'll appreciate it even more after you've been reaching for it every day.
Makeup
Victoria Beckham Color Wash Blush & Bronzer
There's usually a pretty good reason a beauty product keeps selling out, and Victoria Beckham's Color Wash Blush and Bronzer proves exactly that. The liquid formula practically melts into your skin and somehow looks even better once it's blended out. You can use your fingers, a brush, whatever's closest, and it still looks seamless. Better yet, it actually lasts, so you're not touching up your bronzer halfway through the day. Safe to say, this one's worth the wait.
Merit Clean Volume Volumizing Tubing Mascara
There's nothing worse than clumpy mascara. Actually, there is. When it smudges before you've even finished the day. Merit somehow solved both. Its new Clean Volume Volumizing Tubing Mascara gives lashes that lifted look without clumps, flakes, or the dreaded under-eye smudge by lunchtime. It also builds beautifully, so whether you're after something subtle or a little more dramatic, you don't have to start over. And at the end of the day it slides off without feeling like you're sacrificing half your eyelashes in the process.
Rhode Pocket Bronze
At this point, we'd expect nothing less from Hailey Bieber. Rhode's latest launch, Pocket Bronze, arrived just in time for summer, and it's already earned a permanent spot in our makeup bags. If you've used the brand's Pocket Blush, the format will feel instantly familiar. It blends in seconds, gives skin that warm, glowy look, and somehow manages to stay put despite how lightweight it feels. This one's coming on every vacation with us.
Chantecaille Bio Lifting Concealer
Some concealers do a little too good a job of reminding you where every fine line lives. Chantecaille's new Bio Lifting Concealer does the opposite. It's creamy without feeling heavy and gives enough coverage that you can wear it on its own if you're skipping foundation for the day. Even better, it doesn't settle into the areas you'd rather it didn't. Safe to say, this is one product we'd happily keep in every handbag.
Hourglass Phantom Blur Balm
We're always on the hunt for lip products that don't require constant touch-ups. The best ones are the ones you almost forget you're wearing until someone asks what you've got on. Hourglass's new Phantom Blur Balm falls firmly into that category. It gives lips a soft wash of color and that blurred finish everyone's after, but it never feels sticky or uncomfortable. It also lasts longer than you'd expect, so you're not reaching for it every twenty minutes.
M.ph Beauty Underpainting Face Palette
Underpainting has become one of the most talked-about makeup techniques in recent years, and Mary Phillips has lead the movement. Her Underpainting Face Palette brings everything together in one place, making the process feel far less intimidating than it looks online. No digging through multiple products. No wondering what goes where. Just everything you need to recreate the technique that's made her one of the industry's most sought-after makeup artists.
Hair
Gisou Honey Infused Hair & Body Mist
Dare we say this might be the scent of the summer? Gisou built a loyal following with its iconic Honey Infused Hair Oil, and now that signature scent has found its way into a hair and body mist. Designed for both, the lightweight formula lingers surprisingly well, so you're not wondering where the scent went an hour later. Honey Dewy and Glazed Cherry are subtle and fresh, exactly what summer should smell like. You can wear them alone or layer them on with other scents, just don’t be surprised if people start asking what you're wearing.
Nécessaire Rosemary Leave-In Mask
Every hair routine needs one product that's there for damage control, especially after a summer of sun, salt water, and heat styling. Nécessaire's Rosemary Leave-In Mask has quickly become ours. The leave-in treatment leaves hair noticeably softer after just a couple of uses, and somehow manages to make it look shinier without weighing it down. If you're already a believer in rosemary for stronger-looking hair, consider this another reason to keep it in your routine. And yes, it smells just as good as you'd hope.
K18 TripleBright Oxidation Defense Purple Shampoo
Ask any blonde what's always in their shower, and there's a good chance they'll say purple shampoo. A good one keeps brassiness at bay and helps your blonde last longer. But not every purple shampoo gets it right. K18's new TripleBright Oxidation Defense Purple Shampoo definitely does. It keeps your blonde bright without leaving your hair feeling dry. Another solid launch from a brand that rarely seems to miss.

Ouai Bond Repair Balm
Hair repair treatments are great in theory. In reality, not all of us have twenty minutes to spare every time we wash our hair. That's exactly why Ouai's new Bond Repair Balm caught our attention. The in-shower treatment claims to repair damage in just three minutes, which we can definitely get behind. If your hair's been through one too many color appointments, this is the kind of product you'll be glad to have in your shower. Plus, its soft rose scent makes those three minutes smell pretty good, too.
