Wow wow wow, where do we even start? Sophie is not just a photographer. She creates art via the medium of photography, and is a true artist to the core. This creation is accomplished through digital and analog formats. When I think of a creative, but also a professional who is reliable, I think of Sophie. We felt so comfortable every step of the way with Sophie. Our initial consultation helped us feel more understood, and set proper expectaton for the road ahead. From there, I feel like Sophie understood our desires, but also stayed true to her artistic vision-which is what we hired her for in the first place! The results she has produced are immaculate. These timeless photos are future heirlooms, and we are so glad we love them as much as we loved working with her! Our favorite vendor to work for our wedding, hands down!!! We were so excited to work with Sophie because of her gorgeous, artistic, unique, photojournalistic style of photo-taking. My husband and I prefer not to pose too much for photos and love taking natural and candid photos, and Sophie provided just that. Not only did she do this, but she carried it out with such finesse and like a true professional. She was super organized and had us create a photography timeline which was so important. It helped us maximize the time in our wedding to enjoy and spending time with our guests while also balancing the need to take important photos with our loved ones. Not to mention, she is such a sweetheart and I could feel her heart and energy radiating out and filling the room. I felt a lot of anxiety in the final days of and in the morning of the wedding day. Sophie was that kind soul who showed up as not just a vendor but a friend. I love that she felt as much excitement and love as we did because the meaningful moments of our day also positively impacted her. That’s how we knew we picked the right person. She is someone who has a strong intuitive sense of eliciting and naturally capturing the genuine emotions of our special day. We had a wedding party of 16 total bridesmaids and groomsmen, additional sponsors, and a wedding guest count of 115 which I believe to be on the larger side of group photos. Sophie knew exactly what to do in terms of rallying and directing everyone and for these moments she put on her “I’m in charge” boots and commanded such attention and presence as the photographer. Upon receiving our sneak peeks 2 weeks after the wedding and the full set of photos after 7 weeks, we were blown away by the quality, vividness, artistry, creativity, and the authenticity captured in the photos. We have too many favorite ones to count. Best of all, we were transported back to those exact moments through the photos and felt we could live out our wedding day again and again just by looking at them.

My husband and I moved out of state shortly after the wedding but honestly if we have photo needs in the future, we still would call up Sophie. There’s such a high standard that she set that we could not imagine having to settle for anything else in terms of our photo quality and the photographer itself. Thank you Sophie for your art, your skill, and your heart! You quite literally made our wedding unforgettable.
