Chateau de Villette embodies elegance, luxury and the famous French expression art de vivre — "the art of living". This castle is one of the most significant in France and is recognized as a historical monument. It is set in a 75-hectare park with two lakes, a magnificent cascading fountain, a 19th-century glass pavilion and a greenhouse.
Chateau de Villette was designed by Louis XV's personal architect, Jules Hardouin-Mansart, who at the same time supervised the construction of the Palace of Versailles, and the park on the site was made by André Le Notre, who created the famous gardens of the Versailles castle. This is how the castle got the name Le Petit Versailles, «Little Versailles».
The main building of the Chateau houses seven luxurious suites, each has been individually restored by Jacques Garcia. The extravagant interiors reflect the era of Louis XV, furnished with antiques and art objects purchased from the Sothebys and Christies auction houses. Accommodation is also possible in 7 cozy rooms in the adjoining building.
Choose Chateau de Villette as your wedding venue and enjoy the relaxing suburban atmosphere, chic outdoor pool party, horse riding lessons, and the finest French cuisine prepared by a private chef. Visit Paris and its surroundings, take a trip to the Giverny Gardens, the Palace of Versailles, Deauville or Reims.
An open-air ceremony in a classic French garden accompanied by grand fireworks show, a ceremony in an ancient chapel from the 18th century, a cocktail party in the greenhouse or by the pool, a wedding reception in a sophisticated setting — the combinations and possibilities are endless!
