The Mark Hotel

With just 48 hours’ notice, The Mark’s Concierge team was asked to arrange a private proposal for one of the hotel’s longtime guests. Following a call from the guest’s personal assistant, the team set about coordinating an elaborate evening in The Mark’s Madison Penthouse. In just two days, the penthouse was transformed with hundreds of red roses, candlelight, an elegant gazebo, and a live harpist. The Mark’s culinary team created a custom menu for the occasion, while a photographer was brought in to document the proposal. The short timeline required close coordination between the Concierge, Chef, and hotel operations teams, with every detail carefully arranged to ensure the evening unfolded seamlessly. It was a wonderful example of The Mark’s ability to accommodate highly personalized requests, even on exceptionally short notice. The evening concluded with the answer everyone had hoped for: she said yes.
