Unfolding at the Clifton Inn, this editorial shoot was inspired by festive fireside parties, the shifting seasons, and also by Sophia Coppola's iconic film "Marie Antoinette." The team behind the project sought to capture the essence of a warm, opulent, yet intimate dinner party. To evoke the late fall atmosphere, they used locally sourced dried elements and seasonal fruits, honoring Virginia's natural beauty and ecosystem. The emphasis was on a palette of rich jewel tones to play off Clifton's mid-century color scheme of blues and greens.
Fashion-wise, Rebecca, the bride, was dressed in a beautiful Corine top from The Law, elegantly paired with a Heron skirt from the same brand. Meanwhile, Cedric, the groom, wore Alton Lane's Lexington Merlot suit, perfectly complementing the shoot's central color theme.
THE WED member Kate Thompson, the photographer behind the project, shared beautiful images from the shoot with us.
