Carson & Clauson said "I do" amidst the picturesque setting of Brays Island, a charming and historically rich property nestled just over an hour south of Charleston. The couple's wedding was a love-filled two-day celebration, beginning with a cozy ceremony and sushi supper under the oak trees on Friday, followed by a lively outdoor reception the next day. Overlooking the Pocotaligo River the newlyweds had two bands, a bourbon and cigar bar, mechanical bull, BBQ with all the fixings, and nothing but time to celebrate with all their close friends and family.

Friday night was a black-tie affair, and Carson & Clauson certainly dressed the part. The groom, with his tall frame, looked handsome in his Bonobos tux paired with a classic black bowtie and cummerbund. The bride chose a classic simple column dress with a gorgeous pearl overlay. For their Saturday soiree, the newlyweds and all their guests embraced a 'country cocktail' style. Carson wore a one-shoulder white sequin dress, blue suede cowboy boots, turquoise cuffs, and a party pony fit for a long night of dancing and fun. Clauson wore a perfectly fitted blue jacket, brown and white button down, khaki slacks, and ostrich cowboy boots.

The sweetest highlight of the day? The couple's wedding cake! Simple, clean funfetti with creamy white icing. It was not just a delicious treat but also very meaningful, as they cut it with the same knife used by the bride's parents years ago. The couple also added sentimental touches by honoring the groom's late father with silk ribbons bearing his initials – a beautiful tribute during the ceremony.

Carson & Clauson's beautiful day was lovingly frozen in time by THE WED members McSween Photography.
