Angelica and Dmitri were each other's first love. The couple met 14 years ago through mutual friends when they were just teens. After years apart, the couple rekindled their romance, and since then, nothing has come between them.
Dmitri proposed to Angelica on their trip around Italy, so the decision to tie the knot in Tuscany was deeply rooted in their hearts. To celebrate their love, the couple chose a small 14th-century Italian Borgo, surrounded by olive trees. Though the lovers decided on the location without seeing it firsthand, as soon as they got there, they weren’t disappointed.
Angelica and Dmitri had two wedding themes in mind. The first was a "Tuscan Wedding," capturing the essence of Tuscany. To complement Borgo's aesthetic, the couple used vintage cutlery, toile de Jouy tablecloths for the aperitif, and vintage vessels for flower arrangements. For the color palette, they drew inspiration from nature with shades of green, white, and cream. The second theme, "A Love Party," aimed to keep things simple, elegant, with a touch of whimsy and romance.
The couple kept their wedding ceremony short, beautiful, and simple. Their vows, the bride and groom exchanged in private, before the ceremony started. This intimate moment set a serene and deeply meaningful tone for the rest of the day. Simplicity also guided their fashion choices. Dmitri went for a classic white and black tuxedo, while Angelica walked down the aisle in a silky off-shoulder gown with long sleeves. The bride also wore her late mother’s jewelry and had little blue flowers on her French manicure.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family from around the world, the couple happily welcomed the next chapter of their story.
