Taylor Swift has given us numerous memorable red carpet looks over the years, but her 2026 debut at the Academy Museum Gala might just be one of our favorites. Dressed in custom Dior by creative director Jonathan Anderson, the singer looked like a modern-day Cinderella. The gown, in a dreamy shade of grayish baby blue, featured a softly pleated strapless bodice, a dropped waist that gently accentuated the hips, and a sparkling bow cascading down the front. It's easy to imagine this look making its way onto bridal mood boards soon—especially as a bride's touch of "something blue."
This isn't Anderson's first time creating a special gown for Swift, either. The designer was also behind the custom Dior couture dress she wore for her July 3 wedding to Travis Kelce. While we're still holding out hope that we'll get to see her wedding dress someday, her latest red carpet appearance has already sparked a little bridal inspiration of its own. That gorgeous shade of blue has stayed on our minds, inspiring us to revisit gowns from recent collections that share a similar color story.
