Get the Look: Bridal Dresses Inspired By Daisy Edgar-Jones's Sense & Sensibility Red Carpet Looks

| By Kayla McFadden
Your wedding wardrobe is about to get a lot more romantic

If you're anything like us, the Sense and Sensibility countdown is well underway, and Daisy Edgar-Jones is the reason your feed has felt like a bridal mood board. Each appearance has carried a soft, wedding-ready energy, and the designer roll call is a dream: Miu Miu, Schiaparelli, Stella McCartney, Alaïa, and Vivienne Westwood to name a few. We kept coming back to the same question: how could we translate these gowns into looks made for the aisle? Here, we've found all the bridal dresses and accessories that answer it, with a bridal answer for every one of her red carpet and press tour moments. Save your favorites, because your wedding wardrobe is about to get a lot more romantic—and Sense and Sensibility-coded.

Daisy Edgar-Jones's Sydney Premiere Look

For the Sydney premiere, Daisy Edgar-Jones wore a custom Miu Miu gown in shimmering silver sequins, a choice that makes a strong case for leaving the classic white gown behind. A nude or light blush dress can still read unmistakably bridal, and the soft tone sets off sparkle in a way white can't always do. Look for a corset bodice to anchor the gown, but embellishment is where the magic happens. Choose a piece with sequins, beading, or crystals and let them do the talking.

Daisy Edgar-Jones's Alaïa Look

Daisy Edgar-Jones stepped out at Wendy's Secret Garden in Sydney in head-to-toe Alaïa, pairing a white high neck, long sleeve ruffle gown with the chicest mesh heels. The dress may be a tough one to track down, but we've found a handful of bridal gowns that bring the same energy. Large, voluminous ruffles are the first thing to look for, and a high neckline and long sleeves are welcome bonuses if you want to go all in. The good news is her exact Alaïa mesh heels are available online, but we've also found a few alternatives with that same sheer appeal.

Daisy Edgar-Jones's Ireland Premiere Look

Perhaps the dreamiest look of all, the Sense and Sensibitily star stepped out in Stella McCartney at the Ireland Premiere. To channel that same angelic energy, start with a bias-cut silk dress, which is the one non-negotiable here. Then turn your attention to the shoulders, where feathers, beading, or even a cape or bolero add interest make the gown unmistakably romantic. Pair with pearl earrings as the final step and the aisle will feel a little heavenly.

Daisy Edgar-Jones's Berlin Premiere Look

At the Berlin premiere, Daisy Edgar-Jones arrived in an archival silver mermaid gown from Giorgio Armani, with fringe cascading from a cold-shoulder silhoutte. That fringe is the detail worth chasing, so we looked for gowns with the same level of detail and drape across the shoulders. Flow was our priority, which led us to relaxed mermaid cuts that softly skim the body and release into the hem. Interest at the hips works just as well when it comes as draping, appliqué, or a sweep of beading. Choose one and your walk down the aisle will sway with movement the way her entrance did.

Daisy Edgar-Jones's London Premiere Look

If any designer could capture Sense and Sensibility, it would be Vivienne Westwood, which is why Daisy Edgar-Jones's London premiere look definitely caught our attention. She wore a custom oyster-hued gown with 19th century jewelry—a pairing that felt made for the film. While some Vivienne Westwood pieces of course made our list, isn't the only route to this look, so keep an eye out for a dress with dramatic drape through the skirt and across the shoulders. A black choker adds the period touch, while strappy silver sandals finish the walk. Put those pieces together and the London premiere is yours to wear.

Daisy Edgar-Jones's Universal Pictures Picture House Book Club's Q&A Look

While not technically a red carpet event, Daisy Edgar Jone's Universal Picture Picture House Book Club Q&A's look deserves an honorable mention for just how perfectly we think it can translate into a courthouse or civil wedding moment. The actress wore pieces from the Fall 2026 Schiaparelli collection, and we found a button-down shirt with gold buttons that's almost identical. Otherwise, opt for a hip-length jacket and a dress or skirt with some asymmetric volume and you have the look covered. Add black heels for a bit of an alternative-bridal touch.
