From Taylor Swift’s Dior wedding dress to the star-packed guest list, here’s what we know so far about the couple’s private Madison Square Garden celebration

It’s official: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married. After months of speculation, breathless theories, and a love story that kept the internet in full detective mode, the pop icon and Kansas City Chiefs star have finally said “I do.” The exciting news arrived in true New York spectacle mode, with the jumbotrons outside Madison Square Garden lighting up with “JusT&T Married” and the Empire State Building illuminating the skyline in celebration of the couple’s wedding.

The Intimate Rehearsal Dinner
at MSG's Infosys Theater

The wedding weekend began on Thursday, July 2, with a private rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden’s Infosys Theater. The event gathered only the couple’s closest family and friends, offering a carefully protected moment of intimacy before the full celebration unfolded in full Taylor-and-Travis fashion. Guests were later spotted leaving with gifts finished with an elegant monogram, a small but telling detail that hinted at just how considered the celebration was.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding Venue

For their main wedding venue, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce chose none other than Madison Square Garden. Home to the New York Knicks and Rangers, as well as countless major concerts (including Swift’s own), the iconic New York City arena made unexpected but surprisingly perfect sense for the couple. Beyond its cultural weight, MSG offered something even rarer: complete privacy and discretion. With multiple entrances, underground parking, and no exterior-facing windows, the venue allowed the celebration to unfold almost entirely out of view, leaving fans to imagine what was happening inside.

Inside the Private Ceremony

A strict no-phone policy was reportedly in place for everyone involved, from guests to vendors and security personnel, keeping the details firmly under wraps. Still, the few hints that did emerge suggested a romantic garden-inspired world, with reports of a grand castle-like structure built inside the venue. The concept appeared to echo the couple’s engagement, which unfolded in a flower-filled setting, while also nodding to Swift’s long-running love of fairytale imagery. If industry whispers are to be believed, wedding planner Mark Seed was the creative mind behind the celebration. One of the industry’s most discreet names, the Los Angeles-based planner has previously been linked to private celebrations for Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, and Jack Antonoff.

Taylor Swift’s Dior Wedding Dress

And while the décor is still being kept firmly behind closed doors, the fashion has already become the headline moment, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce both wore custom Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson in close collaboration with the couple at the house’s Paris atelier. For Anderson, Swift’s wedding dress marks his first custom bridal look for a world-renowned celebrity since taking the creative lead at Dior. The choice of Dior felt especially fitting, given Swift’s long-running relationship with the house, which she has worn often, including on several dates with Kelce. The singer completed her look with Cartier jewelry, while both she and Kelce wore custom Christian Louboutin shoes.

The Star-Studded Guest List

The guest list was one of the most star-studded celebrity wedding guest lists in recent memory, with around 1,000 celebrities, friends, and family members reportedly making the cut. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Lena Dunham, Camila Cabello, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, and Zoë Kravitz were just some of the famous names in attendance. In an interesting departure from tradition, Swift and Kelce are said to have opted out of a full bridesmaid and groomsmen lineup, instead choosing their brothers, Austin Swift and Jason Kelce, as Man of Honor and Best Man. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler.
