Held at the Bendooley Estate, Tessa & Lee's wedding was a beautiful blend of timeless elegance with chic and modern aesthetic. Every moment of this special day and every inch of the venue was a photographer's dream: from the serene lakeside/garden ceremony and the homestead to the countryside paddocks and the charming book barn illuminated by fairy lights. A special touch to the atmosphere was added by the red autumn leaves and floral arrangements — rambling white, ivory, and green seasonal blooms. As for style, the couple was the epitome of elegance. Tessa wore a gorgeous dress from Eva Lendel with a giant bow and dramatic skirt, offset by a fitted silhouette with custom-made sleeves. Her outfit was perfectly paired with gold shoes, a pearl veil, and long drop earrings. Lee looked just as stunning in his classic black tie suit and white shirt.
One of the most touching moments of the day was when Tessa and Lee shared their vows privately, against the setting sun. Another highlight was the wedding reception that reflected the bride's Maori and groom's Greek heritages. Tessa's family sang the Maori folk song "Tiaho Mai Ra," and the nod to Lee's Greek roots was the couple's first dance to "Na Chareis," which later on turned into the Zorba that had everyone up on their feet.
For entertainment, the guests were treated to lakeside drinks and canapés accompanied by the melodious strains of Kahuna Duo. This laid-back ambiance then led to more pre-reception festivities and culminated in dinner and dancing with the sounds of XYDJ.
