Held at the luxurious Kalesma Mykonos, a venue celebrated for its marriage of contemporary design with deep-rooted traditions, the wedding unfolded like a bohemian dream under the Grecian sun. The ceremony was a visual treat, draped in dry flower arrangements, offering a bohemian yet sophisticated ambiance. This design, tailored from scratch for the couple, not only captured the Myconian aesthetic but stood as a modern art installation in its own right. Kate, radiant in her first wedding dress from Anne Barge, and Jordan, an LA-based author, exchanged vows that were so genuinely heartfelt that they brought tears to many.
As night settled, guests were treated to a Greek family-style feast. Kalesma’s executive chef, Costas Tsingas, masterfully fused Greek specialities with modern culinary arts, presenting dishes that tantalized the senses. Above, clouds of flowers floated effortlessly, with sculptural blooms crafted in natural beige and lavender shades illuminating tables below.
The evening reached new heights when the party room revealed its transformation: a mirrored dance floor reflecting vibrant hues from overhead lights and the delicate flower clouds. Here, the guests gathered to witness the cake-cutting, a fun purple spectacle proclaiming 'ride or die'.
