The unveiling of Collection IV by emerging Los Angeles bridal designer CINQ. Behind the gowns is an aura—an aesthetic—intricately woven with elements of theater, mesmerizing melodies of movie scores, fusions of Shakespearean drama, the suspenseful storytelling of Hitchcock, and the dramatic scores of Herman. This synthesis of ideas sets the stage for the vision of the new season.
Gowns embodying both romance and intrigue, avant-garde compositions reflect daring use of edgy harmonies and dissonance with fine detail and moments of bravado. Layers of intricacy, veiled and unveiled, from delicate lace embellishments to imperfectly perfect frayed hems and crushed antique silks, crafted into bold silhouettes of Basque waists, corseted busts, ballgown skirts, and Grecian drapery for an aura of enchantment. A certain magic that lingers long after the final curtain falls to become modern heirlooms for generations to come.
