Fresh faces and bold visions, these are the designers set to turn heads at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

It's our favorite time of the year again: Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. Arriving later this April, it promises a week full of inspiration and a glimpse into what’s next in bridal. One thing we always look forward to? Spotting the designers poised to stand out this season, with an international mix of talent bringing fresh perspectives from across the globe. Each year, it’s where early ideas start to take shape and quietly set the direction for what’s ahead. From boundary-pushing icons we love seeing year after year to rising stars who just landed on our radar, these are the designers we can’t wait to watch take center stage this season.

Stéphane Rolland

When Barcelona Bridal Night celebrates its tenth anniversary, you don’t call just anyone. Headlining the evening, Stéphane Rolland brings a couture perspective that feels almost architectural in its approach to bridal. The Paris-based designer is known for sculptural silhouettes, controlled drama, and a level of precision that reads more like art than tradition. This marks his first show in Spain, where he’ll present 80 Haute Couture looks. Known for dressing the likes of Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, expect nothing less than theatrical elegance, he’s setting the bar sky-high.

Candelas y Felipa

If you love a brand that takes tradition and flips it on its head, Candelas y Felipa is your new obsession. This emerging Madrid-based label is all about Alta Artesanía, handcrafted Spanish artisanship, but with a fresh, modern twist. Think classic forms reimagined through innovative fabrics and sharp tailoring. They’re the type of label that makes you feel like you found something before everyone else did. And they just made waves at Madrid Fashion Week, so now it’s time for them to turn heads in Barcelona.

Isabel Sanchis

She’s a BBFW mainstay for a reason. Year after year, Isabel Sanchis proves that experience only makes her vision sharper. Known for sculpted silhouettes, toga-inspired draping, and that signature silk chiffon, she creates gowns that are equal parts bold and timeless. Expect her main runway show to remind us why she’s still at the top of her game.

Helena

If you’re drawn to bridal that feels a little less expected, Helena is one to have on your radar. Based in Italy and founded by Camilla Elena Signore, the brand approaches bridal as something fluid rather than fixed. There’s a strong emphasis on mix-and-match dressing, with pieces designed to shift throughout the day and reflect different moods. The result feels bold, slightly irreverent, and refreshingly personal—made for brides who aren’t interested in fitting into a single idea of what bridal should be.

HWIT

HWIT is one of those names that feels like a real find this season. Based in Tokyo, the brand approaches bridal through craftsmanship first, working with traditional Japanese textiles like Yonezawa silk, Sakiori, and Habutae to create pieces that feel deeply considered. The silhouettes are intentionally fluid, designed to be worn beyond the wedding day, which makes the whole idea of “bridal” feel a bit more open-ended. There’s a quiet depth to the work, but it still lands visually in a way that feels fresh and unexpected. Making their BBFW debut this year, HWIT is one of the most distinctive names to watch.

Wona Concept

Wona Concept has become one of those labels you can always count on for a standout moment. Known for bold silhouettes, dramatic volume, and details that are made to be seen, their gowns lean unapologetically fashion-forward. Think statement sleeves, feathers, capes, and pieces that feel built for the runway as much as the aisle. They’ve been setting the tone across both European and US bridal weeks, and at this point, you know they’re going to deliver something that turns heads.

OUMA Atelier

If we were a 2026 or 2027 bride, we’d be keeping a close eye on OUMA Atelier for pieces that feel as relevant now as they will years from now. And yes, we know “timeless” is overused, but this is exactly what people mean when they say it. Based in Vancouver and founded by designer Ou Ma, the brand centers around zero-waste couture, with each piece made to order and every offcut thoughtfully repurposed into accessories, veils, or jewelry. The designs draw from Chinese ink painting and heritage, which comes through in the softness of the lines and the sense of movement in each look. It feels considered, forward-thinking, and quietly distinct in a way that’s only gaining momentum.

Mariano Moreno

If there’s one designer we’re especially excited to see this year, it’s Mariano Moreno. Working between Paris and Barcelona, his approach to bridal sits somewhere between couture and contemporary, with a point of view that already feels distinct. There’s a strong sense of shape and intention behind the work, with pieces that lean more editorial than traditional. We’ve got our eyes on this one—it feels like a moment that could quietly stand out this season.

Yolancris

Yolancris has long been one of those names that is synonymous with BBFW. Based in Barcelona and founded in 1985, the brand has built its reputation on pushing bridal into less expected territory, working with unconventional fabrics like denim, neoprene, and hand-dyed tulle. There’s a distinct point of view here, one that pulls from grunge, bohemian, and urban influences while still holding onto couture-level craftsmanship. It’s bridal that doesn’t feel overly precious, and that’s exactly what makes it stand out year after year. A BBFW headliner and a genuine icon of Barcelona fashion, Yolancris is proof that staying true to your vision, for long enough, becomes a legacy.

Marco & Maria

Marco & Maria just get it. This is a label that understands the assignment: a bride should feel like the most extraordinary version of herself, and sometimes that calls for 3D floral appliqués that seem to grow directly from the fabric, hand-embroidered details where the craftsmanship is impossible to miss, and a level of richness that takes real skill to pull off. Think delicate bows, intricate beading, and layers of embellishment that feel intentionally soft rather than overdone. Their dresses orbit a kind of ultra-romantic, almost dreamlike femininity, lush and unmistakably Spanish in their workmanship, and every piece makes a case for going all in.

Balykina

Balykina is one of the chicer names to know right now. Based in Kyiv and founded by Alina Balykina, the brand leans into sculptural cuts, sharp detailing, and pieces designed to transform, with elements that detach or restyle throughout the day. The silhouettes feel sleek and considered, with a modern edge that keeps everything feeling current rather than traditional. It’s polished, confident, and very much aligned with how bridal is evolving right now.

J. Andreatta

J. Andreatta is one of those designers redefining what romantic bridal can look like right now. Based in Sydney and founded by Jessica Andreatta, the brand pairs soft, feminine elements with a more structured, fashion-led approach. Think architectural draping, layered lace, and silhouettes that feel delicate but never overly sweet. The balance of softness and modernity makes each piece feel distinctly now.

Antonio Rabadán

Antonio Rabadán is working with a different kind of energy altogether. Based in Madrid, his small bespoke atelier is bringing a fresh perspective to bridal through rich texture, thoughtful construction, and designs that feel genuinely distinct. There’s an old-world spirit running through the work, but the silhouettes keep everything feeling modern. It’s the kind of mix that always makes for something interesting on the runway, which is exactly why this one feels fun to watch.

Immacle

Showing right in their home city, Immacle brings a distinctly Barcelona ease to bridal. Known for fluid silhouettes that lend a soft, bohemian romanticism to each design, their gowns are finished with details like puffed sleeves, embroidered florals, and pearl accents that feel intimate rather than ornamental. These are pieces with real character. It’s bridal that feels personal, easy to wear, and just a little outside the expected.

By Watters

If there’s one brand that makes it almost impossible not to find something you love, it’s By Watters. Part of the Watters family, with 40 years under their belt, they’ve mastered the art of giving brides options. Whether it’s a chic mini for your afterparty, a sleek rehearsal dinner look, or something perfect for the courthouse, they get it. Their pieces are polished, playful, and honestly just fun to wear, especially the little white dresses that feel made for every moment beyond the aisle.
