14 Highly Anticipated Hotel Openings Coming in 2027

| By Taylor Alber
Suddenly, next year can't come soon enough

If you're anything like us, planning your next vacation is never too far from your mind. And we suspect we're not alone in caring just as much about the hotel as the destination itself. Which is why 2027 is looking particularly promising. Some of the biggest names in hospitality are preparing to open new properties around the world, and there are a few addresses we're already keeping a very close eye on. Rosewood has quite a few new openings on the calendar, and London is finally getting a taste of American favourite Auberge Collection. So, if you're still deciding where your next trip might take you, we'd suggest having a look at what's opening before making any plans. Here are 14 of the most anticipated hotel openings of 2027 worth knowing about.

Rosewood Calistoga

We've yet to meet a Rosewood hotel we didn't like, so naturally, its upcoming Napa Valley property has our attention. Set to open in January 2027, Rosewood Calistoga will occupy a hillside estate in California's famous wine country, with more than 120 rooms, along with 20 private villas and 13 estate homesites. Clearly, the brand is going all out for this one, which makes us even more excited. The main restaurant will champion an earth-to-table approach, which makes perfect sense given the region's exceptional produce. And, of course, there will be a wine program worthy of the destination. It is Napa, after all

Cambridge House, Auberge Collection

London is hardly short of luxury hotels, but when a new one comes courtesy of Auberge Collection, we're more than happy to make room for another. Set to open in February 2027, Cambridge House marks the American hotel group's UK debut, and it's chosen quite the address for it. Housed in a Palladian mansion dating back to 1756 in the heart of Mayfair, the building alone is enough to pique our interest. From what we've seen of the interiors, there's a definite nod to its historic surroundings, but with that signature Auberge coolness keeping things from feeling too traditional. The hotel will have 102 rooms, including 24 suites, and what looks to be a rather fabulous courtyard restaurant. There's also talk of a private members' club opening later in the year, which, given London's seemingly insatiable appetite for them, feels about right. We have a feeling this one will be popular.

The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel

Gstaad has never been particularly interested in doing anything modestly. So the news that Four Seasons is taking over one of the Swiss resort town's most historic hotels feels entirely appropriate. The original Park Gstaad opened in 1910 and is said to have been the area's first five-star hotel, which gives this particular reinvention quite a bit of history to work with. Set to reopen some time in summer 2027, the property will have 75 accommodations, including 18 suites, and views of the Alps that we imagine will be difficult to tire of. What is rather impressive is the sheer amount they've managed to fit into a hotel of this size. Seven restaurants and lounges, for starters, plus a spa and indoor and outdoor pools. There's even a cigar lounge, which feels especially appropriate for Gstaad. Whether you'll actually make use of the tennis courts or spend most of the afternoon somewhere with a mountain view is entirely up to you.

The Wolseley Hotel New York

Anyone who's been to The Wolseley  restaurant in London will know it's something of an institution. So the idea of bringing that same British sensibility to a hotel in New York is one we're very much on board with. Set to open in early 2027, The Wolseley Hotel will occupy a landmark building dating back to 1905 in Midtown Manhattan, with just 76 guest rooms. And, naturally, there'll be a Wolseley restaurant, bringing a little of the London hot-spot's famous dining experience across the Atlantic. A private members' club is also planned, which  feels only natural for a name that already has such a loyal following. We're particularly curious to see how that distinctly London atmosphere translates to New York, though we have a sneaking suspicion this one will be a hit.

Rosewood Seoul

Like we said, Rosewood has no intention of slowing down in 2027, and its upcoming Seoul property is another one we're keeping a close eye on. The new Rosewood Seoul will sit right in the heart of the city, beside Yongsan Park. To put that into perspective, it's a little like staying next to Hyde Park in London or Central Park in New York. Not a bad address, particularly in a city as busy as this one. The architecture is set to be decidedly modern, with an exterior that feels very much at home in Seoul. The property will house 250 rooms and suites, along with seven restaurants and bars. A dedicated wellness concept is also in the works, as is a kids' club, which should make this an especially appealing option for anyone visiting the city with little ones.

Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi

If you've ever wondered what happens when an Italian jewellery house gets its hands on a private island in the Maldives, Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi should provide a pretty good answer. Set to open in 2027 as the brand's tenth hotel property, the resort will occupy 20 hectares surrounded by the Indian Ocean. And while the Maldives isn't exactly known for understated accommodation, 33 beachfront villas, each with its own private swimming pool, certainly make a case for doing things properly. Honeymooners, take note. The dining is also getting the full Bvlgari treatment, with Il Ristorante by Niko Romito joined by Chinese fine-dining concept Bao Li Xuan and Japanese restaurant Hōseki. There's also La Spiaggia for something a little more relaxed, though we suspect even the casual lunches here will be rather fabulous.

Soho Ranch House Sonoma

First came Soho House, then Soho Farmhouse, and now the members' club is trying its hand at ranch life. And frankly, we think it's a very good idea. Soho Ranch House Sonoma will mark the group's first Ranch House concept and its debut in Northern California, with plans to open in 2027. Set across 350 acres in Kenwood, the property will have just 50 private cottages and villas scattered among working vineyards. Not a bad change of scenery from the group's usual city address.  There will of course still be the familiar Soho House touches, including expansive club spaces and a health club, but with outdoor pools and wine country on your doorstep, the pace of life should feel decidedly different. We have a feeling the Soho crowd will take to ranch life rather quickly.

Aman Miami Beach

It's actually rather surprising that Miami Beach doesn't already have an Aman, given the city's longstanding love affair with luxury. But that's set to change in 2027, when the brand opens its first Miami property in the Faena District. And in true Aman fashion, it's chosen quite the building for its debut. A historic 1941 Art Deco tower is being restored into an intimate 56-room hotel, complete with a spa spanning more than 20,000 square feet and direct beach access. There'll also be an Aman Club and a separate residential tower for anyone who'd rather make Miami a more permanent arrangement. We're particularly curious to see what Aman does with the interiors, given its famously minimalist approach to luxury and the building's distinctly Art Deco character.

Six Senses Milan

Milan knows a thing or two about good design, so naturally, Six Senses is making that a priority for its upcoming hotel in the Italian fashion capital. Set to open in 2027, the property will have just 68 rooms, including 15 suites, with interiors featuring Arabescato marble and antique brass. Two of the suites will even have their own plunge pools, which feels particularly fabulous for a city hotel. There's also an internal courtyard, along with a restaurant and deli focused on seasonal Italian produce. And, of course, wellness will be a major part of the experience. It wouldn't be Six Senses without a rather impressive spa, now would it?

Kimpton Suntaya Bali Ubud

Ubud has always been a place where the surroundings do much of the work, and Kimpton's upcoming Bali property seems to understand that rather well. Set to open in early 2027, Kimpton Suntaya will bring a more contemporary approach to the island's famously lush landscape, with over 100 rooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that make the most of the greenery outside. And while the setting sounds wonderfully peaceful, this isn't necessarily a hotel where everything winds down at sunset. There's a lively bar and a signature Japanese restaurant planned, which should make evenings just as appealing as afternoons spent at the spa. A little more social than your typical Balinese retreat, and we quite like the sound of that.

Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch

If there's one hotel brand that knows how to do old-school grandeur, it's Waldorf Astoria. And really, where better to bring that sensibility than one of London's most historic landmarks? Set within Admiralty Arch, the upcoming hotel feels like a particularly fitting match for the brand's rather traditional approach to luxury. But it's the dining we're especially interested in. Daniel Boulud is bringing his French brasserie concept, Café Boulud, to the property, while Clare Smyth is behind Whisky & Seaweed. There's also The Admiral's Mess, a bar taking its inspiration from the building's naval history. Suffice to say, you won't necessarily need to be staying at the hotel to find a good reason to visit.

Lanserhof Marbella

Marbella has become a major vacation hotspot in recent years, but its next big opening is less about beach clubs and more about longevity. Enter Lanserhof, the wellness brand known for taking health rather seriously, which is bringing its signature approach to the Spanish coast in 2027. With just 71 rooms, the property will be relatively intimate, though the wellness facilities are anything but. A whopping 2,900 square metres will be dedicated to medical treatments, spa facilities and movement, with longevity at the heart of it all. It's an interesting addition to a destination that's traditionally been more associated with indulgence than wellness, and we suspect it'll attract a rather different kind of Marbella regular. The brand has also been sharing construction updates on Instagram, which we love. And from the looks of things, a 2027 opening seems well within reach!

Brach Roma

First Paris, then Madrid, and now Rome. Brach is bringing its particular brand of design-led hospitality to the Italian capital, and if its first two properties are anything to go by, we're expecting something rather stylish. Brach Roma will have just 58 rooms and suites, all with private terraces, which is a particularly lovely detail in a city like Rome. But what's really caught our attention is the Sport & Wellness Club, complete with a 25-metre swimming pool. A pretty impressive perk for a city hotel, if you ask us. There'll also be a Brach Restaurant with an outdoor patio, an Italian bar and a rooftop venue, which we imagine will be a very good place to spend an evening in Rome.

Lily of the Valley Courchevel

If you're familiar with Lily of the Valley in Saint-Tropez, you'll know that wellness is very much at the heart of the experience. Now, the brand is swapping the French Riviera for the French Alps, with a new property set to open above the slopes of Courchevel in December 2027. And it's taking a rather intimate approach, with just 30 suites, each with a terrace overlooking Mont Blanc. There's also ski-in, ski-out access to the Trois Vallées, so getting onto the slopes couldn't be easier. Of course, knowing Lily of the Valley, we expect the wellness offering to be just as much of a draw as the skiing. A few days in the mountains suddenly sound very appealing.
