Ahead of their reported July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, the global music icon and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end kicked off the celebrations with a private rehearsal dinner at the iconic New York venue. The pre-wedding gathering reportedly took place on Thursday evening at MSG’s Infosys Theater, bringing together a close circle of family members, longtime friends and familiar faces from both Swift and Kelce’s inner circle.
While the evening was kept highly private, with tight security and limited access around the venue, the first glimpses from outside Madison Square Garden offered a small peek at the mood of the celebration. Large floral arrangements spotted at the scene seemed to echo the garden-inspired feel of the couple’s engagement, which featured lush blooms and a storybook-like setting.
Among the reported guests were Selena Gomez, who appeared to attend in a black lace dress with diamond jewelry, as well as Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Donna Kelce and Swift’s longtime childhood friend Abigail Anderson. Though several familiar faces were spotted arriving, details from inside the dinner remain closely guarded. The rehearsal dinner marks the first major event of what is expected to be a highly anticipated wedding weekend for Swift and Kelce.
