Rabanne made a stunning statement at Paris Fashion Week with the debut of what is being named as the world’s “most expensive bag.” The exclusive 1969 nano bag, handcrafted of 18-karat gold medallions, pays homage to the world’s “most expensive dress,” in gold and diamonds, that Paco Rabanne designed for French fashion icon Françoise Hardy in 1968.
Crafted through an impressive 100 hours by the talented jeweler Arthus Bertrand in collaboration with Maison Rabanne, the bag is valued at nearly $280,000.
