Jean Paul Gaultier has confirmed that Paris-based designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin will be his next guest couturier. The Belgian-born designer is set to take the stage in January 2024 as part of Paris Couture Week, becoming the eighth guest designer for Gaultier’s brand.
This move continues Gaultier’s tradition of inviting fresh talent to reinterpret his distinctive aesthetic, a practice he began after retiring from the runway in 2020.
A graduate of Paris’ École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré, Ludovic de Saint Sernin had his previous works at Balmain and Dior, along with the success of his own brand, launched in 2017.
