Tell us a little about yourselves. How did you meet? What do you do for a living? What are your hobbies?

Andres & I met through a doctor’s network on Instagram. We both are dentists and help patients restore their oral health. Our hobbies are traveling, concerts, walking, watching movies, fitness routines, Pilates, running. We love spending time with our beautiful kitties.

Can you share your engagement story?

We were engaged on the beautiful island of Hawaii. We were on vacation and after dinner by a bonfire Andres surprised Vanessa by with a pear cut ring from Brax Jewelers in his hand. He asked me if we could spend the rest of our lives together sealed with a kiss.

Did you have any pre-wedding events, like a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower?

The welcome dinner was hosted at Il Gatto Nero adorned with candles.

Where was your wedding? Why did you choose this venue?

Our wedding was in Lake Como Italy at Villla Pizzo. We chose this venue because it was a romantic destination that we wanted to be memorable for us and our guests. We love Italy and it’s romantic culture.

What was the concept behind your wedding and how did you find your inspiration?

Our concept was elegant classical with romantic allure from the white and grey color palate and white Dior fabric with statues draped in white roses and orchids, transporting guests back to a romantic era.

How long did it take to plan your wedding?

Did you encounter any challenges during the planning process? We planned our wedding in 3 months after finding our new planner Kristina Kempton who created an incredible dream wedding. We unfortunately had unfortunate circumstances with our first planner and Kristina, Gigi and her team brought our dream to life.

How many guests did you have? And what was the seating arrangement at the wedding like?

We had 85 guests and the seating arrangement was round and rectangular tables with our closest family and friends.

Tell us about your outfits. How many different styles have you tried?

Groom-had a white and black tux; Bride-2 dresses from Galia Lahav.

What was your first dance song? Did you choreograph or improvise?

First dance was with 'LOVE' by Michael Buble and we improvised.

Did you have any special performances or entertainment?

Yes! The most incredible performer Luke Burr & a DJ.

What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?

The ceremony was incredible with tears in our eyes and seeing the tent adorned in gorgeous flowers, as well as the fireworks.

Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?

Vlasta Weddings' most amazing photographers; Kristina Kempton, our planner who helped design the entire wedding; Larry Walshe is the most incredible florist; Luke Burr, the best performer and singer and Blunotte events are the most amazing violinists

Did you have any special or unique elements (such as a signature cocktail or a fragrance) at your wedding?

Our signature Fragrance was Chanel Boy and Chanel Gardenia.

What helped you cope with the anxiety before the wedding?

Believing that we are so in love with one another and that the wedding will beautiful because our love is so strong.

What advice would you give to couples who are currently planning their wedding?

Make sure to research wedding planners, set a budget and be open to new ideas.
