Trend: Red Event Styling

Synonymous with passion, desire, romance, and prosperity, red has a way of conjuring up a deep emotional response in even the most die hard of minimalists.

This season, it's all about the drama, a modern opulence meets artisanal modernity with a dark, almost gothic touch. Classic details of drapery, red roses and luxurious velvets are prevelant, yet made contemporary with industrial event spaces, sculptural installations and striking proportions. For a high-impact, bold effect, we recommend sweeping every detail in a single shade of red, or a the very least, opting for red drapery, table settings and filtered lighting throughout. For a more subtle approach, opt for red table centrepieces, candleabras or stationery and mix with touches of silver, black or white for a chic look.
