With a career spanning 13 years across fashion and wedding media, Emma Westblade has shaped a body of work defined by a distinct editorial eye and an instinct for what’s next. With a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Direction & Styling, she began in the fashion department at RUSSH Magazine in 2013 before moving into wedding media, with her work spanning editorial leadership, journalism and creative direction. Today, she leads THE WED as Editor-in-Chief alongside directing events and campaigns for bridal and fine jewelry houses internationally.

Based in Byron Bay, Australia, Emma moves between the beautiful chaos of global bridal fashion weeks and a decidedly slower life by the coast. She has a weakness for far-flung islands, the perpetual search for a truly exceptional pastry, and galleries and antique markets you can lose a whole day to. At home, it’s gardening, salty swims, musing over a good film and a newfound, if slightly ambitious, pursuit of pottery.
