A signature of conceptual design and meticulous craftsmanship, SARAH & SEBASTIAN is at the vanguard of Australia’s fine jewelry scene. Their latest collection, MARINE, offers a modern reflection on bridal and milestone jewelry. Born in SARAH & SEBASTIAN's Sydney studio, the newest addition is a tactile exploration of life’s most vibrant connections. The inspiration came to Co-Founder and Creative Director Sarah Gittoes while diving through Tasmania’s towering kelp forests. In storms, kelp remains anchored, resilient enough to shift boulders with its grip. That enduring strength and quiet determination became a powerful metaphor for love’s unbreakable bond.
At the heart of MARINE are a selection of rare, hand-chosen stones including Australian sapphires, luminous natural diamonds, and peridots. Each gemstone is chosen for its singular cut, color, and inherent character. Rather than shaping the stone to fit the setting, SARAH & SEBASTIAN reverse the narrative: the design flows organically around the gem, giving rise to the house’s signature golden kelp silhouette.
Every piece in MARINE is entirely one-of-a-kind—a wearable expression of connection that resists replication. As no two stones are the same, neither are the love stories they represent.
