Photography: Emotions and Math
Inspired by the story of the Garden of Eden, this sumptuous styled shoot, artfully lensed by Emotions and Math, unfolds as an intimate exploration of whimsy and drama through a modern and editorial lens. The first chapter of the fashion-forward narrative is set within the storied interiors of Melbourne icon Hotel Windsor, where heritage opulence frames the scene. Rooms are draped in heavy salmon-pink curtains, layered with vintage floral carpeting, illuminated by golden chandeliers, and grounded by Victorian-era furnishings. The couple's styling feels like an extension of the setting. A pale pink Rococo-inspired bridal gown reads romantic and restrained, then breaks character through contemporary accents: a watermelon-red bread bouquet, glimpses of lingerie, and chunky jewelry.
The narrative then shifts to the industrial backstreets of Collingwood, where a new kind of charm begins to take hold. Here, raw, urban textures are softened through romantic sheer draping and fluid forms that are balanced against industrial chrome, lush greenery, and striking pops of cherry red. Surrounded by brutalist motifs and sculptural installations, a curved tablescape anchored by a live moss centerpiece transforms the inner-city location into a contemporary ceremony vision. It's a cinematic shoot bursting with true love, lust, and desire—a vision where old-world whimsy meets modern, industrial strength.
