Trend: Animal Print Nails

| By Kayla McFadden
Into the wild and onto your fingertips

Zebra stripes are clawing their way onto bridal hands this season, and tiger, snakeskin, fawn, and cow print are right behind. Some brides go all-in, pairing sharp black-and-white stripes or leopard-adjacent spots with saturated bases and crystals, floral, or chrome charms piled on top. Others pull the wild card down to a single finger, letting one tiger-print nail do all the talking while the rest of the set stays minimalist or balanced with stripes, stars, or polka dot prints.

Bambi print nails are taking over our Instagram feeds right now with gradient shades of browns and beiges paired with soft white spots. Meanwhile, snakeskin is doing the most work in neutral tones right now, rendered in beige, browns, or greige so it reads more like etched, textured detail. Cow print keeps crashing bridal Pinterest boards too, a jolt against the traditional white gown for brides who'd rather not play it safe. French-tip application is having its own run, a way to sample animal print without committing a full set to it. Scale changes everything here: one wild finger reads as a wink, a full hand reads as a declaration. However brides land on it, animal print has officially crossed over from a novelty into a real bridal nail category—and we're so here for it.
