THE WED photographer Taylor English met Emily and Jason at The American Theatre in the heart of Downtown Charleston where scenes from the movie The Notebook were shot. They popped champagne and leaned into the old Hollywood glamor of the theater, now owned by PPHG Properties. Emily, the bride, wore an ivory satin corset cocktail dress with iconic Jimmy Choo shoes and accessorized her look with an all-pearl cylinder mini-purse. Her groom, Jason, opted for summer casual in khaki slacks and a white linen button-down with crisp white sneakers. Later, they left the theater to explore the historic district of Charleston, making sure not to miss Rainbow Row and the architectural character of the Holy City.
